Reproductions of library materials is subject to approval by the Librarian. It's allowed to reproduce for study and commercial purposes, according to Statute of public libraries ( DPR 417/1995) and Baldini Library regulations and Copyright Law. Reproduction may be carried out only in digital format.

Reproductions for study purposes

Visitors are allowed to take their own digital photographs for study purposes in the Library with a small, handheld camera, tablet or mobile phone, previous librarian authorization. In order to protect the Library's patrimony, works printed before 1900, as well as rare materials are not allowed to be copied

Reproductions for editorial or commercial purposes

Users have to ask the authorization to the Director of the Library. See reproduction fees.

Please remember that reproductions must comply with copyright law (No. 248/2000) which, among other standards, limits the reproduction of books or periodicals to 15%, excluding any pages with advertising.

It's possible to reproduce the whole work in case of “rare work of editorial catalogs” previous self-certification submitted to the librarian.

The mendacious self-certification will be prosecuted according to law.
